The Terrible End of the Universe: A Future When Planets Collide with Earth
Hello friends,
We all know that every living being on Earth will face death someday, whether it’s a person, an animal, or even a plant. Just like we measure the age of trees, animals, and fossils, mountains and our planet also have a lifespan.
Our Earth will eventually come to an end, but the age of the space and planets in the sky is much longer than Earth’s. However, even they will not last forever. Today, we will discuss how our space and planets will eventually come to an end.
Now, let’s fast forward thousands of years into the future. Researchers have studied and predicted these events. A hundred million years from now, the Earth will have changed significantly. The temperature will have increased drastically, not just because of the sun but also due to air pollution. According to NASA, the Earth’s average temperature, which was once 5.14 degrees Celsius, could reach 50 degrees Celsius. Without controlling air pollution, the ozone layer could be completely destroyed, leading to extreme heat.
Moving forward to 200 million years from now, the heat will have caused seas and rivers to dry up. Air conditioners, while cooling our homes, will contribute to the increasing outside temperatures. Life on Earth will begin to disappear, much like the dinosaurs did. Some humans might survive by moving to Mars, but eventually, even Mars will become uninhabitable due to the rising temperatures.
At 400 million years into the future, our neighboring Andromeda Galaxy will collide with the Milky Way, forming a super galaxy. This event will leave the sky looking desolate and empty. Over the next 500 million years, our solar system will start to die. The sun, expanding and turning red, will swallow Mercury and eventually the other planets, including Earth. Only the sun will remain, surrounded by the remnants of the planets.
After 1.5 billion years, the sun will have burnt out, and our solar system will be no more. Fast forward to 10 billion years, all the galaxies will have merged into super galaxies, but they too will eventually die as the stars within them burn out. With no dust clouds left to form new stars, the universe will continue to change rapidly.
In 20 billion years, only a few stars will remain in the vast, empty space, and black holes will dominate the universe, consuming any remaining matter. Eventually, even these black holes will die out, leaving the universe completely empty with no particles, matter, or time remaining.
At this stage, known as the Zenturion, space will have expanded beyond comprehension and will finally be empty. It will be the end of everything, leading to a new beginning where Allah will judge all souls, rewarding the righteous and punishing the sinners. May Allah guide us to do good deeds and grant us a faithful end. Ameen.
