MIRACLE HAPPENED, WHEN SOMEONE TRIED TO BURN THE KAABA

The Kaaba, located in Mecca, is the most sacred site in Islam, revered by millions of Muslims around the world. The thought of any harm coming to this holy place is unimaginable, as Muslims are deeply committed to its protection. Throughout history, the Kaaba has faced numerous threats, yet it has always remained under divine protection.

One of the most significant incidents occurred in 570 A.D., when Abraha, a powerful leader from Yemen, led an army equipped with elephants to attack the Kaaba. Abraha’s goal was to divert pilgrims away from Mecca to a grand cathedral he had built in Yemen. As his army approached Mecca, a miraculous event unfolded. A flock of birds, known as Ababil, descended upon the invading forces, pelting them with small stones. This divine intervention is detailed in the Qur’an in Surah Fil, highlighting how the invaders were defeated and the Kaaba was saved.

In another event, the Black Stone, a revered object housed within the Kaaba, was stolen in 906 A.D. by Abu Tahir al-Karmati, the leader of a rebellious group. Abu Tahir, along with his army, caused significant harm to the pilgrims in Mecca and took the Black Stone with them. Despite his blasphemous claims, he was eventually defeated, and the Black Stone was returned to its rightful place.

The Kaaba has also faced destruction during wars. In 683 A.D., the Umayyad general al-Hajjaj bin Yusuf attacked Mecca, damaging the Kaaba with stones. However, following the conflict, the Kaaba was rebuilt, reaffirming its resilience.

In more recent times, an incident occurred where a mentally ill man attempted to set fire to the Kaaba. Fortunately, he was stopped before any harm could be done. This event reminds us that even in the modern era, the Kaaba remains a target for those who wish to defile its sanctity.

Prophecies from Islamic tradition indicate that the Kaaba will face further challenges before the Day of Judgment. These predictions, such as the Kaaba’s destruction by a figure from Abyssinia, cause deep concern among Muslims. The idea that the Kaaba could be harmed is a distressing thought, as it is a place of refuge and spiritual significance for believers.

The Kaaba’s history is a testament to its enduring strength and the unwavering faith of those who protect it. As Muslims, it is our prayer that the Kaaba remains safe from all harm and that we are guided on the path of righteousness. May Allah protect the Kaaba and grant us goodness in this world and the hereafter. Ameen.
